Protesters climb rafters, hang giant banner during Vikings-Bears game

Montgomery’s workload at running back in 2017 and beyond remains undetermined. Lacy is a free agent coming off a season he ended on injured reserve. Starks, Green Bay’s longtime backup, has a season left on the two-year deal he signed in March. Running back certainly is in play for one of the Packers’ draft picks in 2017.

The Vikings-Bears game may not mean much for playoff consideration, but two protesters used the platform to fight for their cause.

According to the Star Tribune, the two protesters, who climbed to the rafters, were urging the U.S. Bank to diverge from the Dakota Access Pipeline.

Originally planned to pass upstream Bismarck, N.D., the pipeline was rerouted after citizens expressed concern for the safety of the city’s water supply. The pipeline is now routed through treaty lands of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

Montgomery is no Le’Veon Bell, and he’s good at hitting the intended running lane as quick as possible when necessary, but he also has displayed the type of patience that makes a rusher like Bell so difficult to contain.

That means the Seahawks (9-5-1), Falcons (10-5) and Lions (9-6) will jostle for the No. 2 seed and a key first-round bye.

Give Green Bay credit. Too often is one mandatory trait being good at football overlooked in the NFL draft process. Prospects literally are labeled by position, then evaluated Cheap Jerseys MLB China based on specification related to that position. The Packers in 2015, not necessarily Cheap Jerseys NCAA in need of a pass-catcher in the third round of the draft, weren’t sure what kind of wide receiver they were getting in Montgomery.
